Greed also gives rise to cravings for even the smallest of the things and, as a result, makes people greedy for all things. Because of this, those who succumb to greed end up receiving God’s judgement. The main reason for greed is the failure to rely completely on God. Essentially, because we are unable to have faith in what God provides for us, we rely only on ourselves, which in turn results in greed. Having faith that God always gives to us what we need will free us from greed.”
