“엡스타인바 바이러스는 헤르페스 군에 속하는 바이러스로 가장 흔한 바이러스 중 하나입니다. 이 바이러스는 전염성 단핵구증을 유발할 수 있습니다. 그러나 대부분의 건강한 사람은 감염이 되더라도 특별한 증상이 없습니다. 에이즈 환자 또는 면역 억제제를 투여 받고 있는 골수이식 환자 등 면역력이 현저히 떨어져있는 환자에서 이 바이러스가 만성적으로 감염되어 있는 경우에는 림프증식성 질환이나 암을 유발할 수 있습니다. 특히 국제 암연구소(IARC)에서는 이 바이러스를 버킷 림프종(Burkitt’s lymphoma), 호지킨 림프종 및 코인두암을 유발하는 1등급 발암 원인으로 규정하고 있습니다. 엡스타인바 바이러스는 타액(침)을 통해 전파됩니다. 주로 입맞춤을 통해 전파되기 때문에 ‘Kissing disease’란 별명을 가지고 있습니다. 아기에게 음식을 먼저 씹은 다음 먹여 주는 습관은 엡스타인바 바이러스 감염을 유발하는 행위입니다.”

Romans 12:9-21 ESV

Let love be genuine. Abhor what is evil; hold fast to what is good. Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor. Do not be slothful in zeal, be fervent in spirit, serve the Lord. Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation, be constant in prayer. Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God, for it is written, “Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord.” To the contrary, “if your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink; for by so doing you will heap burning coals on his head.” Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
