Ephesians 2:19-22 ESV

So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the cornerstone, in whom the whole structure, being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord. In him you also are being built together into a dwelling place for God by the Spirit.

성화 혹은 도야를 감내하는 이유는 무엇인가. 그것은 ‘왜 도덕적으로 살아야 하는가’와 동일한 질의다. 답은, 하나님의 열심이다.

1 Corinthians 15:9

For I am the least of the apostles, unworthy to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God.

Ephesians 3:8-10

무엇 하나로 귀결되지 않아 여러 의견이 다양하게 제시되는 구도에서 심중에 고매한 정답을 갖고 질문하는 게 합당한가. 이는 홀로 이데아를 본 마냥 시선의 비대칭성을 즐기는 행태다. 반감을 사지 않겠나.

Philippians 4:8-9
