갈등이 생기면 일인칭 주인공 시점에서 본인을 옳음에 배치하고, 타인을 그름에 대입한다. 그리고 그 이야기를 뭇 사람에게 전파한다. 끝으로 두려움으로 불안을 자극한다. 지독한 자기 정당화를 도무지 깨닫지 못한다. 이것은 악이다.

And after you have suffered a little while
Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you, casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you. Be sober-minded; be watchful. Your adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. Resist him, firm in your faith, knowing that the same kinds of suffering are being experienced by your brotherhood throughout the world. And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to his eternal glory in Christ, will himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you. To him be the dominion forever and ever. Amen.
