1John 1:5-10 ESV
This is the message we have heard from him and proclaim to you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all. If we say we have fellowship with him while we walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin. If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.
“32년 프로야구 역사상 최초로 시즌 200안타 고지를 밟은 선수” “서건창은 학교를 졸업하고 프로 지명을 받지 못했다. 연습생으로 LG에 입단한 서건창은 2008년 1군 경기에 딱 한 타석 들어섰다. 3구 삼진. 그것으로 끝이었다. 1년 만에 그는 구단에서 방출됐다. 경찰 야구단에 지원했으나 낙방. 결국 운동선수가 현역으로 군대에 가야 했다. 모두가 끝이라고 했다. 하지만 그는 포기하지 않았다. 제대 후인 2011년 넥센에 입단했다. 그때도 연습생 신분이었다. 당시 서건창은 기량이 모자랐다고 한다. 그를 뽑은 박흥식 코치는 ‘기량은 없었는데 눈빛이 살아 있어서 뽑았다. 그런데 훈련장에서 펄펄 날기 시작했다‘라고 말했다. 서건창의 ‘연습생 신화’를 만든 것은 절박함과 성실함이었다.”
